Versailles. At the center of the stage, the blonde hair of a subtle Marie-Antoinette symbolizes the artistic choices of Thierry Malandain. Huge amounts of doors, bordered with a golden edge, shape the set. The hopping, colorful and whimsical carelessness of the twenty-two dancers gradually gives way to increasingly dark hints, right down to the chopper... After the extraordinary Noé, which won the prize for the best company awarded by the Professional Association of Theater Critic, the choreographer delivers a portrait of a woman rich in emotions and of rare finesse.
